In Memory of Frank Hinckley, Sept. 9, 1964 - May 21, 2012

Seigokan USA recently lost a dedicated teacher and brother, Frank Hinckley. On June 3, Frank's friends and extended family gathered to share stories and memories of a loving father and loyal friend. To those of us in Seigokan, Frank was also a powerful force, a creative martial artist, and for me, an immovable object. We'll miss him. Dave K.

  2. We are really shocked and sad about this.
We send our deepest condolences to Frank's family and Seigokan USA.
    We thought he was older.
    May rest in Peace.

  3. During the early 80's I took instructions from Sensei Marcos as a young pre-teen/teenager and had the pleasure to train with and get to know Frank. As he was much older than me, I always looked up to him and admired him like an older brother, even though (like an older brother) he wupped my butt in many a sparring match. I remember Frank, along with Marcos, Shawn G, Leon D., and Craig H offering me many wise pointers both in Karate and in life. So I was really saddened to find out about this. Rest in Peace Frank. Due to many circumstances and life choices, not all of which were good or wise, I always regretted not staying with Seigokan, but I never forgot Frank or his cool attitude, or his talent. I can only offer condolences to his family and to all Seigokan brothers.
